Since its creation in 2010, Aquila Solutions has sought out team members with diverse backgrounds to give flexibility into approaching client wishes and services offered. Our team includes backgrounds in Biology, Business, International Affairs, Language Arts, Marketing and Technical Communications.

Josh Boutwell
MBA, RAC
Mr. Boutwell founded Aquila Solutions in 2010. Prior to starting the company, he worked at several pharma companies, biotech companies, and international CROs. He has a BS in Biology from Georgia Institute of Technology and an MBA from Georgia State. In addition to his work in Regulatory Affairs, Mr. Boutwell has worked for the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Atlanta, Ga and has conducted research at Emory University and served as an adjunct professor teaching regulatory affairs. Since founding Aquila Solutions, Mr. Boutwell has managed thousands of projects, including numerous initial applications.
William “Jared” McDonald
MA
Mr. McDonald has been with Aquila Solutions for over 9 years, and serves as program manager and lead publisher. He has completed several INDs, aNDAs, NDAs, BLAs, ASMFs, and MAAs. As lead publisher, he has represented Aquila at several conventions and trade shows. Before joining Aquila Solutions, Mr. McDonald attended The George Washington University, where he received a Master’s degree in International Affairs and Public Policy. While there, he compiled several National Intelligence Assessments. Mr. McDonald has also received a Bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Georgia-Athens.
Caitlin Storey
Caitlin is the primary labeling specialist at Aquila Solutions. She has experience authoring SPLs and creating labels for OTC, dietary supplement, and nutritional products. Additionally, she reviews externally-created labels for FDA and ICH regulations. With her eCTD publishing experience, she has fully built out 5 INDs. Before joining Aquila, Caitlin received a Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication from Mercer University.
